Como Park Neighbors Growing Good One Row at a Time
Como Park Lutheran Church, Como Community Seed Library and the Como Park Neighborhood are teaming up to fight food insecurity for our neighbors by donating part of our garden abundance this growing season to local organizations like Every Meal and Keystone Community Services. This effort is called Como Grow a Row.
Communities Organize
Grow a Row programs have been around a long time. Communities can grow for specific purposes like donating or supplying to food shelves or free farm stands and to increase seed donations or grow out a specific crop for a seed library.

Select which veggies you think you’d like to grow and donate. Now is a great time to plant warm season crops like squash, cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers, and melons. Think about inter planting with root crops like radishes or carrots. If you need seeds check little free seed library locations in the neighborhood or check them out from the CCSL collection for pick up or by mail.
